The story

More than a neighborhood bar.

The building has changed with the neighborhood while staying a place where people meet, eat, and come back.

  1. During Prohibition

    The inn became a shoe store with a speakeasy operating below.

  2. 1972

    The Sanders family officially took over the building as a bar.

  3. 1981

    Dan and Shirley Sanders continued the family stewardship.

  4. Today

    Tracy Hardy and Nate Sanders carry the story forward.
